Grandbo 46: Old Blood

The sequels that never get old… while getting older.

I often forget I’m not young anymore. My mind often races with thoughts of adventures and activities that I want to take part in. But then I remember that my back / knees / hip would protest and grief me for such foolish decisions.

I recently started tinkering with video production as a professional service. Not full scale video production, mind you. Just small stuff for YouTube and social media marketing. My first real project was for Armory Outfitters.

I gotta tell you, I’m having so much fun with this. Aside from the fact that I get to shoot guns, I’m also learning a new creative skill that I can turn into a sellable service.

In other news, my Campfire Queen and got to spend a couple of refreshing days in Eureka Springs to celebrate our collective revolutions around the sun. We stayed in a quaint, cozy little cabin. We ate a ton of good food. We hit all the usual shops downtown. She even got me a Mandalorian metal sculpture from one of the nerd shops.

Overall a refreshing and much needed break.

Outside of that, it’s business as usual. I’m quickly approaching my 15th business anniversary for Hawk & Bear Co. (formerly Jeromy Price Design Co.), which means I better get my nose back to the grindstone.

With that, I leave you with the tomfoolery of Hazel Wigglebottom and Carson Wigglefoot.

Until next time, ‘ver heil ok sæl’.
