My new therapist.
He prefers I channel my emotions into healthy expressions of violence. He’s eccentric, and he creeps me out every time he asks me to choke him. But overall he seems okay. Although I’m not a fan of how he just lingers and stares at me while I’m trying to work.
Turning 43 went surprisingly well. For the first time in 3 years, I didn’t feel like I had aged a decade. I got a Bob on whom to take out my frustrations. I got an Evo Ironman toothbrush straight from Stark Industries.
I’ve managed to talk one of the kiddos into taking up martial arts and learning a second language with me. I’ve convinced Britt we need to study Shotokan Karate and learn Japanese. She’s on board for now. We’ll see how it goes. I’ve been really missing my martial arts training lately. And then the universe sent me a message the other day when the condensation from my glass of water left a yin-yang symbol on the coffee table.
Message received.
I’ve also revived the Hawk & Bear store. It’s been a side project I’ve left on the back burner for too long. It’ll be a nice source for passive revenue, plus it gives me an opportunity to learn eCommerce web development. Win win.
I’m hoping the Arkansas spring weather will quite throwing a fit soon so we can go hiking and camping while the temperature is still tolerable. The summers around here are buggy, muggy, and miserable. Some people love summer camping. I’m not one of those people.
