Happy first contact day.
Well, after a long draught, it seems Spring has finally sprung… a major leak. Seriously, all the rain we didn’t get for weeks decided to show up all at once. It’s almost as if Spring overslept, showed up late for work, and now he’s just being spiteful because of all the customer complaints.
On the flip side, Johhny (our apple tree) and Georgia (our peach tree) are in full bloom. They sure are pretty. The other three are taking their time. And by that, I mean it’ll be another 3-7 years before they produce any blossoms. Katsumoto and Myagi (our Japanese Cherry Blossoms) usually take 5-7 years, and Oogway (our Chinese Wisteria) will take 3-5.
I really chose the wrong trees for being so impatient.
In nerd news, our friend Danny Fuller just released yet another book — this guy is on fire. It’s called Proxima’s Promise and is available on Amazon. We just received our copy, and I’m eager to dive in. I love sci-fi.
Danny is a terrific and prolific writer. He’s putting me to shame. I’m still working on my book, and it’s been over a year since I started. Doh!
Aside from that, there’s not much to report… other than the fact I turn 46 tomorrow. I even designed a coffee stain logo for it, which is crazy relevant and accurate.
I leave you with the overwhelming cuteness of Carson Wigglefoot and Hazel Wigglebottom.
