So much awesomeness…

It’s been a minute. Soooo much has happened, and there’s soooooo much going on that it’s hard to keep up.

Let’s see…

Oh yeah! The Campfire Queen and I got to see the International Space Station directly over our house a few nights ago. That was amazing. It was the first time for both of us. We managed to catch it two nights in a row. And even though it only looked like a bright dot racing across the sky, it was really cool knowing that there were astronauts directly over our heads… in space!

SPACE!!

So friggin’ cool.

Also, having been with my wife for 12+ years now, I finally met my brother-in-law and his family. That’s because they live really far away.

Anyway, while they were here, we decided to spend the day family style. We hit the arcade/bowling alley/kiddy casino in Northwest Arkansas (Fast Lanes) for a few hours, then we made our way to The Farm, where we ate kettle corn and watched pigs race.

Cris P. Bacon almost won… but he pulled a hamstring.

Premium dad joke.

Today, we celebrated Koda’s 15th birthday at The Box Arcade. That place was absolutely amazing! It’s a retro arcade stocked full of vintage arcade games, every console from my childhood, and air hockey tables. We had an absolute blast.

Afterward, we all packed up and went to El Trio for lunch because (1) the food is amazing, (2) the people there are awesome, and (3) the food is amazing… wait, I said that already. That’s because the food is amazing.

Not to mention all their branding is on point… because I did it. **self high five**

And last but not least, there’s Hazel in all her glorious goofiness.

You’re welcome.

Until next time, ‘ver heil ok sæl’.
