It’s been a busy month… and there’s still a week to go. There’s been a laundry list of things to do, places to go, facepalms to be had. It’s been a whirlwind of activity.
I kicked off the month by celebrating Star Wars Day in Sith fashion to match my grumpy disposition. In my current mood, the Jedi can kiss my Dark Side.
That following weekend, my Campfire Queen and I headed out to the Steampunk Festival in Old Town Van Buren. I didn’t make it past the first three booths before running out of cash. But I did walk away with two 3D printed art pieces — (1) Gandalf, and (2) Luke facing off with an AT-AT, a D&D handmade notebook, and a 3D printed Stormtrooper helmet/skull.
I recently backed another Kickstarter project from Coincide. This time it was the Currents coin featuring Thomas Edison (DC) and Nikola Tesla (AC). It finally arrived the other day and now joins the philosopher collection on my bookshelf.
As I mentioned last post, I’ve been toying with the idea of making funny Stoic Nerd videos. I recently made a modest attempt at one. It’s gotten a few views. I might be open to making more.
That’s it for now. The summer is gearing up to be full of deadlines and honey-do’s. We’ve got the Fort Smith Comic Con and the Oklahoma Comic Con coming up soon. There’s a good chance I’ll go broke at the OK con due to the amazing lineup.
With that, I leave you with the shenanigans of Hazel Wigglebottom and Carson Wigglefoot.
Until next time…
